Nasty Bully Michael J. Fox Beats Up Poor Defenseless Frightened Victim Limbaugh (5:07 pm)
Tracy Russo at democrats.org quotes Fox speaking at a rally for Sherrod Brown’s Ohio Senate campaign.
As you may know, I had a run-in with a less than compassionate conservative. I guess I’m not supposed to speak with you until my symptoms go away, or maybe I’m supposed to go away, but I’m not going to go away and neither are the millions of Americans and their families who live with these diseases…via John Amato at Crooks and Liars
The stem cell policy of President Bush that was supported by Senator DeWine is a rejection of the future of medical research. Well, forgive me for this, but it’s time we get back to our future…a vote for Sherrod Brown for Senate is a vote for hope and for a better quality of life for millions of Americans…
I’m asking you as an advocate, and a husband and a father to all get active and to stand up for what is right — what is right for the future of hundreds of millions of Americans who have or are touched by debilitating diseases.

RNC Chair Ken Mehlman: The Republican National Committee Is NOT Responsible For Ads It Makes (11:52 am)
Bob Schieffer confronted Ken Mehlman about the racist RNC-sponsored TV ad it ran against Harold Ford. Mehlman initially claimed the ad “is being run independently of the Republican National Committee.” Then Schieffer played the end of the ad, in which a voiceover is heard saying, “The Republican National Committee is responsible for the content of this advertising.” Mehlman then insisted that “the law” prevented him, as RNC chairman, from having authority to review or withdraw the ad.
In other words, according to Mehlman, the Republican National Committee isn’t really responsible for creating the ad which it produced and paid for.
