Steve Soto reports on early-voting irregularities in Texas and Florida, with voting machines that - surprise, surprise - erroneously register Republican votes when voters select Democratic candidates.

How, then, do we manage a reasonable resolution to this nigglesome business?
Our Democrat reps (with notable exceptions like John Conyers) seem to blow off the implications of funny-bunny numbers coming out of multitudes of precincts.
Our vote is the fundament of our democracy, isn’t it?
Let’s skip a perfect world scenario; but the rank fraud that may well rule the day is a monolithic phenomenon. The current system hardly even makes an attempt to counter the probability of hacking, let alone afford audit possibilities in the event of discrepancy.
We may as well be throwing long and short straws into shoeboxes.
What the hell goes on!?!?!
