Net Neutrality Update (2:17 pm)

Matt Stoller at MyDD reports that

as a condition of AT&T’s merger with SBC, AT&T as agreed to net neutrality protections for 24 months or until net neutrality legislation is passed.

24 months should be sufficient for the corporations to buy their congressional backers and write the law to their satisfaction. They should have agreed to sit on the sidelines and put their efforts into providing the best service...with total net neutrality.
