Upholding Voter ID laws (8:39 am)

Who needs evidence in the nation’s highest court when you have hearsay?

“The chief justice also seemed unimpressed by the absence of known voter impersonators. ‘It’s a type of fraud that, because it’s fraud, it’s hard to detect,” he said to Mr. Smith.’”

Makes me sick.

Makes me sick to allow people to vote who shouldn’t. Surely we can require simple id for voters, as we do for everything else. For those who are truly too poor to afford an id, we should provide them for free.

There is no reason not to require voter id, other than those who know how the dead and illegals are going to vote (as many know, the dead and illegals are very staunchly liberal)!

There are many reasons why it is onconstitutional to require an ID in order to vote.  The most glaring reason is that the State of Indiana’s rules to acquire proper identification are Kafka-esque in their illogical twists and turns.  The Supreme Court should have done what they could to insure it’s EASIER to vote, not more difficult.

btw - proof that there is massive voter fraud being perpetuated under the names of the dead and illegal immigrants is exactly what was being debated here - there is NO evidence this is a serious problem.

this is a smokescreen to get us talking about something other than the huge amount of non-caucasian voters whose votes are being unconstitutionally suppressed.

Huh? What? What would be the process to vote that would be simple enough for you be? Just show up.. Do you think there needs to be no verification of who you are? I am not asking for tests, free voter id cards for everyone that has legal status.. Proof by either SSN, Birth certificate or papers… Hell less than what is requires to get into government programs or apply for a credit card…
