Obama isn’t Muslim, he’s a Commie! (12:59 pm)

Hey National Review? What year is it?

And yet, all of my mixed race, black/white classmates throughout my youth, some of whom I am still in contact with, were the product of very culturally specific unions. They were always the offspring of a white mother, (in my circles, she was usually Jewish, but elsewhere not necessarily) and usually a highly educated black father. And how had these two come together at a time when it was neither natural nor easy for such relationships to flourish? Always through politics. No, not the young Republicans. Usually the Communist Youth League. Or maybe a different arm of the CPUSA. But, for a white woman to marry a black man in 1958, or 60, there was almost inevitably a connection to explicit Communist politics.

Like those who managed to make a great many young American males view Jerry Seinfeld as representative of our nation’s “average joe,” liberals who grew up in NYC are ignoramouses when it comes to typecasting inter-racial realtionship, as this National Review piece so colorlessly reveals. For communists, race matters little. For capitalists, it is a perverse icing on the cake that Marie Antoinette trickled down. What this article best informs is the coming peurile behavior of right-wing thinkers who are about to shit themselves because the pacifier of executive perogative will soon be pulled from their greedy sucks. Sen. Obama’s mother, as her son so clearly suggests, must be a remarkable woman. Sen. Obama’s persona also suggests that the genes of his father, regardless of what right-wing tantrums proffer, may have been no man to mess with. Get out of the way, National Review, its time for you to take to the sidelines of history-in-the-making. Until you get better copy between your covers, your publication seems a diaper that needs changing.
